We are looking for Stacker for our client based in Sutton Bridge.

Key responsibilities
 

• Where stacking make sure the lay out on the pallet is correct for the customer and the amount needed on each pallet
• Ensure all empty pallets are only stacked 7 high.
• To monitor the Quality, Pack Print and Pack Presentation etc of the finished product, alert Tech Op to any issues identified
• To maintain a safe working environment and ensure that you tidy as you go.
• Follow manual handling training when lifting or moving pallets, trays & sacks.
• The use of a manual pump truck to remove finished goods and pulling trays to the production lines.
• Follow procedures relating to Stacking, One Person Handling & Moving Pallets, and Operating a Manual Pallet Truck.
• Assist Tech Op during changeovers by changing forming sets etc
• Ensure NAV is used accurately – (a computer system to print the required amount on to a pallet)
• If no pallets are available inform PPT drivers
• Assist with setting up and connecting the mobile stitcher when required.
• Manual physical work on busy production lines
• Drive GMP standards in the production areas
• Ensure all efforts are made to achieve continuous production.

Carry out, as required other duties as may be necessary.

• All lifting must be using manual handling procedures.

 
Essential
 

• Experience on a high-speed packing line in a time pressured environment

Experience in carrying out stacking and lifting in line with operational requirements
